Self-Portrait, aged 21
By descent through the family
Private Collection, UK
Simon Reynolds, William Blake Richmond, An Artist’s Life, 1995, illus. page 27, plate 10
Two other self portraits are known, one in oil and the other in pencil.
In style and technique the portrait bears similarities to George Richmond's self-portrait in the National Portrait Gallery, also painted at the age of 21.
